Nonwovens, films and laminates engineered layer by layer

We produce spunbond, SMS and meltblown nonwovens and breathable and barrier films, and turn them into fabrics for everything from surgical gowns to building membranes.

Production widths
160, 320, 400 and 540 cm
Nonwoven and meltblown weight
10–100 g/m²
Ultra-fine spunbond
1.2–1.3 dpf
Breathable film
12–20 g/m²
FDA 510(k) clearances

Layer structures

In structures such as SMS, SMMS, SFS and Biflex every layer has its own job: strength, barrier, breathability or softness. Choose a structure and explore its layers.

Common structures

  1. SpunbondPP filament, 10–100 g/m²
  2. MeltblownFine-fibre barrier, 10–100 g/m²
  3. SpunbondPP filament, 10–100 g/m²

Spunbond, meltblown, spunbond. The outer layers give strength and the meltblown core gives the barrier, a good balance for many medical and hygiene uses.

Contract and toll lamination

Lamination is our core strength. We laminate your materials to your specification, or produce the complete laminate from our own spunbond, meltblown and films.

About contract lamination
Hot-melt lamination
A hot glue layer bonds nonwoven to film; used for our Biflex and Triplex drape fabrics and textile backsheet.
Ultrasonic lamination
Bonds layers without adhesive, for example in our meltblown sorbents.
Calender lamination
Thermal bonding between heated rolls.
Heat sealing
Joining and sealing layers with heat and pressure.

Quality and certifications

Our in-house laboratory tests water column, strike-through time, wetback and other physical properties. Datasheets and certificates are available on request.

Quality and certifications
  • ISO 9001 and ISO 13485Quality management and medical device quality management
  • CE, EUDAMED and FDARegistrations for medical products
  • FDA 510(k)Myflon Surgical Mask Level 3 (K212111), Bodygard SFS Surgical Gown Level 3 (K202845) and Level 4 (K221139)
  • EN 13795Medical fabrics are made to this standard
  • OEKO-TEXCertification for textile products
